There are countless reasons to jump on the flight over to Cuba. There are virgin white sand beaches, untouched countryside, the hidden gems frequented by Hemingway and above all the welcoming, cultured people of a country that still has one foot in the '50s while the other dances a salsa step toward an exciting future.

Let us take you on an authentic journey from the colonial city center of Havana to the picturesque valley in the western part of the island. Explore the tropical scenery and let yourself be overcome by the quaint charm of colonial UNESCO world heritage villages and the flowery beach paradise on the idyllic small island.

THE FLAIR OF THE 1950'S

Visiting the sultry capital of Havana is like stepping back in time: one of the finest examples of a Spanish Colonial city in the Americas, Havana boasts plenty to see and do.

You will be welcomed at Havana airport with our local expert guide and transferred to your hotel. This exquisite property boasts gorgeous view of the historical district and is where Jay-Z and Beyonce spent their 5th wedding anniversary.

Your cultural immersion begins in Havana with a salsa class, however, not in a studio! Your private dance teacher will take you into the lively streets to study the rhythm of Cuban life. Taking a walking tour through colonial Old Havana, watching people shopping, chatting in cafés, or simply peeling a mango, you will soon realize that Cuba's distinctive tempo isn't just in the dance clubs; it's on every street corner!

Enjoy a guided tour of the Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes by an art specialist and behind-the-scenes visits with regional ballet company. In the evening, take a charming ride in an antique car to witness a century old tradition of Havana – cannon shooting – before arriving at an exclusive private restaurant where only the best in the country is served on the table.

The next day, head out to Hemingway's favorite haunts and visit his country estate, where The Old Man and the Sea was written. As you look through the windows and open doors of his remarkably preserved home, feel the author's inspiration for his mesmorizing work. In the afternoon, dive into the culture and creativity in Havana with a local architect. Cap off your day with the festive Tropicana show, the world's first cabarate!

THE TOBACCO ROUTE

Exploring Cuba's most beautiful regions, you will discover a way of life that's unchanged in the past 50 years. Drive along the “Tobacco Route" through the scenic valley with its famous limestone rocks and picturesque villages. We will arrange visit of Cuba's most prestigious private tobacco plantation, where you will be greeted by the warm and gracious owners who proudly share their history, music and art – along with great rum and truly extraordinary cigars.

Check into your lodge which offers the most quintessential Cuban view. The next day, head out to explore the beautiful landscape with a naturalist. Arrival at an organic farm to learn about local farmer's life and enjoy a delicious home cooked meal. Watch sunset over the peaceful tobacco valley with a delicious home made mojito in hand!

DANCE TO THE END OF THE WORLD

Trinidad, the UNESCO World Heritage town, is a perfectly preserved Spanish colonial settlement full of charm with cobblestone streets, pastel colonial buildings, and happy musicians. Here you will stay in a private estate, possibly the most stylish ranch in the entire country! The family has lived in Trinidad for centuries and you are invited to experience this unfiltered access to local life.

Rise at an hour that suits you, enjoy a delicious home cooked breakfast. Taking a stroll around town with an informative local expert. Have lunch in one of the many beautifully restored private mansions in town center. In the afternoon, board an antique steam train that puffs its way out of Trinidad into the Valley of the Sugar Mills where ruined sugar plantations are scattered across the hills — the source of Trinidad’s wealth and architectural splendour. Appreciate the nature and the history, before dancing your night away in the beautiful plaza mayor.
